With everything that is going on in law enforcement in the United States today, you’d think more sheriffs and police officers would do more to protect the image of their departments. Well even in the current environment with people not trusting law enforcement and government, we find that their our some law enforcement officers that don’t care much for the image of their department that they’re employed by. Today we’re going to explore a woman by the name of Katherine Grimley, who’s employed by the Loudoun Sheriff office. Katherine Grimley is very unprofessional and thinks she’s a super cop. Katherine Grimley seems to have a problem with black veterans, and at this point there are a lot of questions that haven’t been answered.
On November 14th, 2022 Katherine Grimley kicked in Lawrence Charles business door down, without presenting him with no warrant and neither giving no explanation. Deputy first class Grimley did this with the help of 3 other deputies. Deputy Grimley and her colleagues pointed their guns at Lawrence Charles, then slammed him to the ground hard. Mr. Charles said he felt like someone punched him in the back of the head. Deputy Grimley then proceeded to take Lawrence Charles outside his home with no shoes or anything on his feet. Deputy Grimley threw Lawrence Charles in the back of her police cruiser. On the way to the jail Lawrence Charles kept asking deputy Grimley, “Where is the warrant?”. When they finally got to the jail, they sat around for almost one hour before deputy Grimley finally served Lawrence Charles with the warrant. When the another deputy asked deputy Grimley, “Why is his handcuffs on so tight?” Grimley never answered.
On December 4th, 2022 deputy Grimley served Lawrence Charles, with 2 felonies and 3 misdemeanor warrants. Katherine Grimley alleged, that Lawrence Charles had gone and destroyed a bed and a tv, which belonged to him. And that Lawrence Charles had made threatening phone calls to his wife who was living in Ohio during that time. Lawrence Charles asked Katherine Grimley, “How are you getting warrants on me, when I own the stuff you saying I broke belongs to me?”. Katherine Grimley never replies. On December 27th, 2022 Captain David Wozniak; who works in the jail, and the Loudoun County Sheriff Office, put out an memorandum.
The memorandum which violated Mr. Charles freedom of speech, and should of never been put out. On the memorandum Wozniak stated that, “Lawrence Charles was not allowed to contact a Katie Hendricks.” Captain Wozniak was trying to help Katherine Grimley cheat Lawrence Charles out of a fair trial. On the 29th of December, 2023 Lawrence Charles was in his cell; when Lieutenant Garnett and Sgt Woomer who works for the Loudoun County Sheriff Office, came to his cell and asked him to put his hands behind his back. Lawrence Charles asked them, “Why?”. Lieutenant Garnett told Lawrence Charles, “That he had violated the memorandum Captain David Wozniak had put out.” Lawrence Charles said, “He didn’t violate the memorandum, because he didn’t call nobody on that list.” Sgt Woomer and Lieutenant Garnett took Lawrence Charles to medical to get a seg check. After the seg check, they took Lawrence Charles to disciplinary segregation.
After an hour had gone by some deputies came and got Lawrence Charles and took him to the front og the jail, where intake was located. There Lawrence Charles met a woman, the woman introduced herself as detective Lorraine Goldberg. Lorraine Goldberg handed Lawrence Charles a document, it was a protective order. Lawrence Charles asked Lorraine Goldberg, “How was she able to get a protective order for Katie, who didn’t ask for a protective order and is currently living in Ohio?”. Lorraine Goldberg replied, “Because she’s getting one on Katie’s behalf!” On the way back to walking to his cell, Lawrence Charles noticed, that the protective order that Lorraine Goldberg had handed him was for 5 days. In Virginia the most a magistrate can issue a protective order for is 72 hours, anything over that a judge must sign off on it.
When Lawrence Charles got back to his cell, he looked over the protective order and noticed that the protective order ended on the 3rd of January, 2023 at midnight. It was kind of funny because on the 4th of January, 2023 he had court. An hour later sgt Woomer brought some paperwork to Lawrence Charles; One of the paperwork was an email, from deputy Katherine Grimley. Katherine Grimley had sent the email on December 22nd, 2022 to Captain David Wozniak and Lorraine Goldberg. On the email deputy Katherine Grimley wrote, ‘She had been monitoring Lawrence Charles phone calls, and Katie had changed her number. She needed help slowing down the calls Lawrence Charles was making’. On another document it showed the numbers that Lawrence Charles had called, none of those numbers were on the memorandum that David Wozniak had issued.
Katherine Grimley was literally begging her 2 colleagues, to help slow down the calls that Lawrence Charles was making. The reason being, so she can have time to listen and monitor the calls so she can find something incriminating. Lawrence Charles was making a lot of calls, so for this Katherine Grimley to take time out her day to monitor these phone calls, shows this individual was looking to keep Lawrence Charles in jail. The other reason was; Because she was trying to cover the fact, that she had kicked in Lawrence Charles door with no warrant, and needed a conviction to help her hide that she and the sheriff department had violated a black mans rights. The fact that Katherine Grimley had reached out to David Wozniak to help her impose cruel and unusual punishment onLawrence Charles, violated the constitution.
Lawrence Charles decided to call his family and friends, who contacted the sheriff office and notified them, “What they were doing to Lawrence Charles was dead wrong!”. Lawrence Charles reached out to Katie Hedrick and asked her on December 30th, 2022 through a friend. Lawrence Charles asked Katie, “Why did she get a protective order?” Katie told Lawrence Charles, “She had to get a protective order, that’s the only way LAWS would help her out.” Lawrence Charles replied to Katie don’t use me for none of your housing scam. On December 31st, 2022 the Loudoun Adult Detention Center cuts Lawrence Charles communications to the outside world off completely. Lawrence Charles is not able to communicate neither through the phones or tablets. Lawrence Charles is locked in his cell for 23 hours a day and is only allowed to come out for only one hour out the day, to take a shower or clean his cell.
